Liapari Lagoon is a beautiful setting, but snorkeling was not so great, did see some clown fish in ankle deep water, some were on a blue anomie, prettiest blue I’ve ever seen. No good pix though, every little move stirred up the bottom, just too shallow. I could enjoy cause they said crocks were across the way in the mangroves. I am a fair weather snorkeler. Don’t like the scarry stuff.
I think tomorrow, Noel, the owner of this island is taking Jim and Rod(Lizzie) fishing. Supposed to be large snapper just outside the lagoon, deep drop. Also Noel says big yellow fin tuna are in the pass between here and Gizo. You know could be a lot of talk.
