We had a wonderful night, sat off the reef for an hour or so waiting for daylight. Right at sunrise we started making our way into Cairns. We have spoken to the coast guard, also customs. Customs will board us when we arrive at Marlin Marina. have some tidying to do before I can allow them aboard. Around the helm chair looks like we’ve have a barrell of monkeys eating peanuts for 6 days. For days it was too rough to even lean over and pick anything up.
This season has flown by, we have about 6 weeks to make our way to Brisbane and fly back to USA on Nov 6. Still have an adventure here around the Great Barrier Reef. In the mean time we look forward to a long nights rest.
